Mark your calendars now for the 5th Annual Membership Meeting of the Friends of Ladd Marsh! The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 13, in the Johnson Community Room at Cooke Memorial Library at 4th Street and Adams in La Grande, Oregon.
It’s been another great year of activities and events on the marsh. Karen will have a slide show to relive the fun times, and Ladd Marsh biologist Cathy Nowak will update everyone on the Sandhill crane satellite telemetry project that the Friends helped fund.
Members will have an opportunity to meet the new Ladd Marsh director and staff and vote for new members to the FOLM board of directors. The annual meeting is also a great time to renew your membership and bring a friend to join the fun. New and renewing Family Memberships include a 2016 DOFW Wildlife Area Parking Permit. FOLM T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase.
